The Kent Street StairsThis photo shows the Kent Street stairs, which have been an important link from one part of the city to another for many a year. This stairway is attached to a natural wall whose geological structure forms its own internal stairs. It is a very unusual natural structure. Originally, the stairs were made of wood. They were then replaced with cement stairs, as seen in a 1978 photo. The current stairs were built in 1982. View a transition from this new photo to a photo from 1978.
